sentosa trip.

im just back from the cca outing at sentosa !
&& now im like a lobster. face, hand and leg abit red. itchy itchy scratchy scratchy .. omg ! ! the outing was quite fun i thhink. but i just cant have a fun mindset to play witht them. im just sian && bored. i just dunknow why. maybe ? mmm,
tdy.at sentosa. learnt 2 things.
life is fragile. they can just die off at any moment.
loving someone needs time and strength. just like the roots of the trees and plants. the longer and deeper it goes in, it will be more difficult to pull them out of the soil. tdy . someone said. even if she resemble someone, i will not change heart to her. woah ! really have a deep in the roots there, sound really touched there.for me la. is just touched ((: and sort of sweetness in it. 我不会变心的。她和她长得虽然很像， 但我不会放弃她 ！ why do i feel for this sentence ? really dunknow why.
life is fragile and need to learn how to cherish every moment with ur family members, friends, lover, teachers. perhaps.

maybe i learnt it quite long. but somehow tdy i learnt and deep into my heart, maybe i should have some actions. im really scared of regrets =(

HELLOS ! im back !

this is taken when im having a meetup with my primary school babes ! all have changed into another person. there goes the same to me. one of them still dun recognize me -.- i got change meh ? maybe only my attitude. im primary school. i can talk alot. now. with them, i cant D; they talking about theirs and im listening only. there goes the same to secondary friends too. cant talk much, really. maybe all went poly ? tt might be the reason. one of my besties told me. if u are quiet in ite. u can be noisy in poly. maybe this is how enviroment force a person out of their own box. maybe im that person. my box is silence and dark ? perhaps. ahaa, 3 of them are doing well in poly now. wish them all the best yeah ! jiayou too !

24.09.09 , went back to school. for the sake of having the CCA meeting. when i got noted of the CCA meeting. woah ! im super happy! really. happy. but when tt day come. i like not happy . for wad reason ? i myself also not sure why. went back to school. have a sense of unfamilar feeling. making me so scared and the place seems remourseful to me. esp when during CCA. sat there did nth. see the juniors do the duty. yet did nothing. just did testing of water. cca ending. told us the venue and timing for the sentosa trip on the 28.09.09. woah. im more sian and dreaded to go to those place. though i like it. suntan-ing ~! but i dun really liek it tt day. dun feel like going. why ? wad happen to me ? then after tt, went for lunch at C1. met up with shihui and weijie tgt. ause bowling ltr after lunchy.haha. finished and went out with huiyun to chat with mr roy and mrs wong, haha ! i really missed them alot. so talked quite alot. but slowly, i got to know. what modules we eill be taking next sem. 3 modules with 2 examted modules. medical lab practices (MLP ) is an elective course. biochem and analytical chem 2 is examted course. and are to study till 6pm in school . omg lahs ! back home sue late de. hope will not happen tt, dun really like late back home cause im scared =( sigh x.x i really duntknow wad to do man, anyone tells me how ?
back to bowling. woah. the guys were really great ! we 2 girls need to dig a hole a go in. no face to see them cause of bowling points. wah! so bad lo my skills. maybe as wad as he says. 80 % luck . 20 % skills. maybe there is the same to studies bahs, 80 % luck . 20 % knowledge. suan luh .____. forget it. JIAYOU ! haha,

Repentance of the Ugly Princess

Life is short, and its transience is often compared to that of smoke and mist.Some people go after sensual love and pleasures, and live deluded and troubled lives. Others abstain from sensual desires, leading lives of pure, cool solitude. Being noble and modest hinges on the discretion of one thought. For the benefit of our personal progress and emotional well-being, we need to know the importance of repentance. We must always reflect on what we have done wrong, who we have wronged, what we have overlooked etc….If we do this daily to improve ourselves, we shall become more accomodating and the spiritual quality of our lives would elevate. If, however, we wrestle daily in the grip of our passions, living in the prison of our internal desires and the external stimuli, and unable to emancipate from our fears and resentment, our lives will be absolute torture. People who are willing to repent would not only transform their mind, but also their appearance.

King Prasenajit had a daughter who was very ugly. Although she was a royal princess, nobody fancied her.In desperation, the king found a young man from a slum area to whom he bequeathed a high rank with a good salary, and had him marry the princess.After they were married, the young man was too ashamed of her looks to take his wife with him to social functions. As time went by, people began to wonder whether it was because his wife was too beautiful that he wanted to keep her all to himself. A few of his closest friends decided to find out the truth by making him drunk one day and taking the keys to his residence.

Although she had been locked away, the princess felt sorry for her husband for being so tolerant of her looks. She knew that her ugly appearance must have been the result of her past bad karma and devoutly prayed in repentance before the Buddha’s image everyday.Strangely enough, as she repented in earnest, her rough hands began to get smooth and white, while her tiny eyes slowly turned beautiful and sparkling. As she further prayed to the Buddha, she became elegant and gracious. When these friends of her husband’s saw that the princess was such an exceptional beauty, they went back to tease her husband for being so selfish in hiding his wife from them.

The transformation of the princess soon came to the knowledge of the king and queen who were most delighted.To show their gratitude, they came together to the Jetvana Vihara to make offerings to the Buddha and his Bikshus. With joined palms, King Prasenajit enquired:” Buddha! Can you kindly reveal to me my daughter’s past deeds which had contributed to her being born into the royal family and yet being so ugly?

The Buddha said:” Everyone’s appearance is a result of his or her karma accrued from past deeds. It is no coincidence that rewards and retributions follow us like shadows.”

Then the Buddha told the king how the princess had in the past abused and slighted an Arahat of fruition, and how she subsequently begged for forgiveness. Although part of her sin had been erased, she still had to suffer an ugly face despite a royal birth.

The Buddha’s revelation had strengthened the faith of all, and they did not have any more doubt about the law of cause and effect.”

The Monkey Trap, and Communication Problems

Have you heard the story of the monkey trap?

It’s said to be true, and goes like this: In tropical countries, hunters used to capture monkeys with a simple but effective trap. They placed a banana or something sweet inside a basket, and anchored the basket to something solid. A hole in the top of the basket allowed a monkey to get its open hand inside and grab the food.

So far, so good – – from the monkey’s perspective. But, when it tried to pull out its hand, while holding the banana, it could not. As long as it held the banana, its closed fist was too wide to get back out.

At any time the monkey could drop the banana and easily pull out its hand. But, it would have to let go of the banana first, to make the hand narrow enough to slide back out.

You probably know what’s coming next: the monkey never lets go of the banana and ends up captured.

We humans often get caught in monkey traps, too. For example, a couple of months ago I tried to get to a street not far from my home — an area I know well. Yet, it wasn’t where I expected it and I had to call to get directions. You can imagine my embarrassment. I certainly knew the street but had a different area stuck in my mind, which blinded me to the real location.

As communicators, we get into traps, too. Consider the assumptions we make about the people with whom we communicate. Assuming that others think the way we do is a common problem. Consider, too, the perspectives on problems or opportunities we embrace, and later can’t shake.

For example, when publishing newsletters for organizations with many locations, I try to ensure that the mindsets of different locations, as well as that of head office, are taken into account. It’s easier for me than the people who work in head office, of course, because I’m not part of that workplace culture; I just drop in every month or two.

The monkey trap also can plague us when trying to write something important. We’re rolling along nicely, and suddenly get stuck on a word or a idea. No matter what we do, we’re stuck; in fact, the harder we try the worse it gets.

To beat the monkey trap, we need a fresh perspective. On minor traps, like getting stuck on a word, a walk or short break often does the job. Simply putting the subject out of mind for a few minutes can be enough to escape

On the bigger traps, the challenge may be to recognize we’ve mentally painted ourselves into a corner. Once we recognize we’re caught, we can escape in a number of ways. One of the best is another person’s advice, especially from someone not connected to the issue. We can also read books that help us think laterally or creatively; brainstorm with colleagues; watch television (really); or go for a long walk (just don’t grab any bananas in baskets while you’re out).

A WHOLE NEW WORLD , damn nice! later find the lyrics =) haha. sing sing then ard 4 plus bd girl came in. then all sudden so high, actually want to play the bd song for her when she come into the room.. but. u know wad. we found the diff song, not a HAPPY BIRTHDAY song, what a joke. we keep laugh & laugh. sing and pllayed. fun day. esp with my aunts, they HIGH ‘easily.heh XD so sang for ard 7 hrs, my throat like going pain. gosh,haha, but lucky tdy im fine.mMUAHAHAH !

then ard 1345 like tt went up to T06-05. waah ! super nervous kays. heart going to drop out from mouth like tt.

ok.use time machine to go back arhs. to 22 aug 2009 (sat) . This day was the celebration for weijie birthday . actual is on the 24th (mon ) so we decided to help him celebrate in advance lor. =) , hah . then met up at cityhall station at 1430 . i reached there on time. see ah.ON TIME. which is 1430 reached. lOL .1st time. needa change plan on my timing. haha. then ard 1445. all haven come.ask him to called the others.in the end all are at marina . asked them to meet at suntec to watch movie on 1505. then on way there. we saw MR ROY !! super happy to see him XD his princess really resemble much more like him compared with his wife.heh. so cute ! but i still dundare touch baby lor. see le ver scared.haha XP . then went up to the movie there. met up with belinda, huimin, yanguang & yingjun.. korshim come late so we changed mind to watch movie at the marina. walked back and quew\ued fr tickets. wen arcade for a while and went to movie. THE ‘xiao dao xia ‘ smth like tt.haha. okla.the show.i find it quite scary for the 2nd part. i jumped ! almost cried out. gosh ! ext time dunwan watch these type of movie le lahs. scary. ater movie, went to decide where to eat. decided to eat and fish&co.oh.fish& chips.haha. only fish&chips attracted me.nothing else.haha. so went to eat tt =D . was treated by weijie worhs. so long le haven say thank you to him . THANKS YOU WEJIE ! =) haha. =P then home sweet home.haha ! hope he like tt present & must cherished cause huiyun and i do his present till gone siao.haha. oka.think tt’s all abt it. =)

i missed schooling, the lectures.when i went back to school then sense of familar was not there anymore. it seems so remourse to me =( maybe it all need time. gonna watch my tv programme ! bye peeps ! do comment me,haha XD !
